For over 60 years, the David R. McGeorge Car Company has been proud to be a part of the growing Richmond area and committed to doing our part to give back to thousands of Virginians across the region. Through the McGeorge Cares program, we work with local philanthropic organizations to improve our community in a multitude of ways.
Each month we’ll feature a local community-focused event with organizations like the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and The Children’s Hospital of Richmond. By partnering with organizations who nurture hope for our community, we strive to raise awareness of their importance and impact, while encouraging residents in Central Virginia to get involved. Just as Richmond has truly helped shape the McGeorge family for over three generations, we know that with your help, we can together continue to make our community a better place to live, grow, and thrive.

Helping Those That Are In Need Of Food
We are always striving here at McGeorge, to keep our community in the forefront and the purpose of all we do. We understand that without our local community here in the Richmond area there would be no McGeorge Toyota Scion.
We have been for several years and continue to partner with The Richmond Food Bank and FeedMore. This year we continued that partnership and were involved in several campaigns to help feed those in need.
In October we took part in the Drive Hunger Away campaign and was blessed through the donations of our customers our employees to make a generous donation of 276 pounds of food.
November we continued to partner with FeedMore. On November 22nd, along with help from FM 103.7 Play, McGeorge Toyota Scion presented a check to FeedMore for $5,500. That check equates to 27,500 meals that went to help families in need of food for the holiday season.
We wanted to end the year in a special way! We wanted to be assured that even after the holidays that we could continue to reach those in need in our community. We made a committment to donate 250 meals for every vehicle sold in the month of December. We were blessed to be able to donate 53,000 meals to FeedMore and the Richmond Food Bank.
We will continue to help those around us in any capacity that we can. We say thank you to our customers for their loyalty to our company as if it were not for each one of you we would not be in this position to help others around us.
